This evening I was at the Memphis Grizzlies game with my father for the first time this season. We ended up losing 99-84 against the New Orleans Pelicans. In reality the final score could have been a lot worse. In one point of the game in the third quarter the Pelicans had a lead of 27 against the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies showed absolutely know passion or fight tonight. The offense is very stagnant and it seems whatever the new Coach is trying to do, it's obviously not working yet!
A surprise came half way between the 1st quarter though, superstar forward Zach Randolph got informed his fiancé was expecting to deliver. Like any father would do, he left the arena asap and headed to the hospital. My wishes go out to Zach and his future family on a great life together but I hope he can put the Grizzlies a close second in his life because the team needs him desperately.
Signing off feeling very sad, mad and disappointed! Go Grizz!
I can see that lost was nothing you was looking forward to seeing that it was your first game with your father this season. Hopefully that new coach pull things together and work on new strategies or something! I refuse to hesr about MY school losing constantly. Lol, Good post!
ReplyDeleteI hope the Grizzlies get it together this season even though I'm an OKC fan! Lol
ReplyDeleteSorry about the loss, but glad that you and your dad were able to hit a game together!
